Its membership is comprised exclusively of chief information officers or individuals in equivalent positions at companies and organizations throughout the state. Brian P. Shield, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer
The Weather Channel
As head of the Information Technology (IT) organization, Brian Shield oversees all technology infrastructure, internal systems, weather forecasting capabilities, technical and broadcast operations, and implementation of industry-leading technology products and services in support of The Weather Channel. He is also responsible for setting the strategic vision, technical direction, and financial controls on behalf of the IT organization.
Prior to joining The Weather Channel in 1998, Mr. Shield served as CTO of FTD Inc. in Chicago, Illinois. At FTD, Mr. Shield was responsible for all elements of technology, including the delivery of information to over 150 countries, the FTD Internet presence, and product engineering. Preceding his tenure at FTD, Mr. Shield had been CTO and head of software development at the investment firm of Scudder Kemper Investments, in Boston, MA, and formerly Wang Information Services. During his 20-year technology career, he has specialized in emerging technologies, IT organizational development, software engineering, systems architecture, data management, and research and development.
Mr. Shield is a member of SMPTE, SCTE, and a number of industry organizations and serves on technology advisory board of Hitachi Data Systems. Mr. Shield was awarded "Regional CIO of the Year" in 2004 by the Georgia CIO Leadership Association.

Ken Rabun, Chief Information Officer
Manhattan Associates
Ken Rabun is the chief information officer of Manhattan Associates, the leading supply chain solutions provider in the world. Prior to joining Manhattan, Mr. Rabun was the Vice-President of Enterprise Applications for T-Mobile managing their Supply Chain applications, as well as the business warehouse, all SAP applications (HCM, CRM, CIC, SEM and Financials) and project and portfolio management for all IT projects. He also held executive positions at LHS, an international software company for the wireless industry, including Division President - POS software, SVP - Global Support Services and VP - Americas Services.
Mr. Rabun has spent all of his career in IT and most of his career, until Manhattan, in or supporting the wireless industry with companies like Bearing Point, Alltel Information Systems, Contel Cellular and Contel Telecom. Mr. Rabun has been quoted in publications on Quality Management and Wireless technology. He is a member of the Advisory Board for WITI, serves on the IT advisory board for the College of Management at Georgia Tech and is also on the technical advisory board for LogicsOne, an Atlanta-based company that specializes in consulting and integration of virtualization software.

Prior to joining BeavEx, Mr. Byrne was Senior Vice President of Sales for Computer Associates International, the third largest software company in the world. Mr. Byrne also spent 10 years selling and delivering marketing & operations consulting services to clients in the telecommunications industry.
Mr. Byrne has an engineering degree from George Washington University, an MBA from Emory University, and an undergraduate degree in Finance from Stetson University.

John Dunbar, Chief Information Officer,

John Dunbar serves as chief information officer for Aquilex Corporation, a platform of global complimentary businesses providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services with associated engineering and technical support.
Prior to joining Aquilex, Mr. Dunbar served as chief information officer for EMS Technologies. In that position, he was responsible for setting the Information Technology vision for EMS, including overseeing strategic planning, implementation, and management of IT functions globally. Before joining EMS, Mr. Dunbar was the Global IT director for BTG Group, a Switzerland-based global manufacturer and distributor of components for the pulp and paper industry, where he established the company’s technology strategy to align with the business strategy as groundwork for continuous international expansion.
Mr. Dunbar is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, the Society for Information Management, and the Georgia CIO Leadership Association.

Randy Fox, Chief Information Officer,
GE Energy Services
Randy Fox leads the Information Technology organization for GE Energy Services, a $10B business based in Atlanta, GA.
He began his GE Career at Aircraft Engines in 1986 as an IT Programmer Analyst based in Cincinnati, OH, and progressed through a variety of positions with an increase in responsibility by gaining experience in Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing to further develop his leadership skills.
In 1995, Mr. Fox moved to GE Plastics Europe, based in The Netherlands, where he was the Order to Remittance Systems leader. In that role, he gained significant ERP systems experience by implementing Oracle Applications.
He then joined GE Superabrasives as CIO, located in Worthington, OH. From there, Mr. Fox was promoted to the position of CIO GE Supply, based in Shelton, CT. Within Supply, his role was broadened to include Six Sigma Leadership for the business.
Mr. Fox followed this role with a move to Philadelphia, PA in 2002, where he led the IT integration of multiple acquisitions in the creation of GE Water and Process Technologies. He also formed IT shared services platforms for GE Specialty Materials and GE Infrastructure.
Mr. Fox holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.

David M. Guthrie is chief technology officer for Premiere Global Services and is responsible for global technology initiatives, including product management, research & development, strategic partnerships, web development and operations.
Prior to joining Premiere Global in 2003, Mr. Guthrie served as a partner with Fuqua Ventures where he made investments in portfolio companies; led technology-based investments; and served as a strategic consultant to key portfolio companies within the fund. Prior to Fuqua Ventures, he was senior vice president at WebMD, where he was responsible for the technology development and deployment for all content across WebMD's properties. Mr. Guthrie was president and cofounder of ISSI — a software technology consulting company — which created software applications and systems for healthcare, communications and media-based companies.

Robert P. Keefe, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Robert P. Keefe has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Mueller Water Products since March 2007. Mr. Keefe is a director of the Society for Information Management (SIM), a non-profit trade organization.
Before joining the Mueller Water Products, he was Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Russell Corporation, an athletic apparel, footwear and equipment company from August 2002. From 1996 to 2002, Mr. Keefe was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for ConAgra Refrigerated Foods. He also held progressively responsible systems and technology positions with Kraft Foods, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Brookhaven National Laboratory.
Mr. Keefe holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Oswego and a Masters of Business Administration from Pace University.

Edwin Marcial, chief technology officer for ICE, is responsible for all systems development and overall technology strategy. He oversees the software design and development initiatives of ICE's information technology professionals in the areas of project management, software development and quality assurance. Mr. Marcial joined the software development team at Continental Power Exchange, Inc. in 1996 and has 12 years of IT experience building large-scale systems in the energy industry. Prior to joining Continental Power Exchange, Inc., he led design and development teams at GE-Harris building software applications for the company's energy management systems. Mr. Marcial earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering at the University of Florida.

Jason Molfetas, Chief Information Officer

Before joining Recall, Mr. Molfetas served as Chief Information Officer at Westcon Group. Prior to that, he held global executive positions at Xerox Engineering Systems and Pearson Technologies, PLC. His career also includes experience with other multinational organizations such as Pepsi Cola, Dannon Inc. and Unisys.
Mr. Molfetas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Pace University and an MBA degree in marketing from Fordham University.

Joe Oesterling, Chief Information Officer,

Joe Oesterling is responsible for the development and support of all of Cbeyond's operational support systems (OSS). He also provides executive oversight for Cbeyond's Human Resources, Billing Operations, and Business Intelligence functions. His team at Cbeyond has created a next-generation OSS featuring a high degree of flow-through provisioning and an industry leading customer self-service Web site: Cbeyond Online.
Before joining Cbeyond, Oesterling held leadership roles in information technology with Capital One, Security Capital Group, Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Sony and IBM.
Mr. Oesterling is very active in the IT leadership community within Atlanta given his involvement with TechBridge, Georgia CIO Leadership Association, and Technology Association of Georgia. In addition, he is on the Board of Directors for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Greater Atlanta (www.cccsatl.org).
Mr. Oesterling holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Purdue University.

Randal Robison, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer

Randal Robison is the SVP and CIO for Georgia-Pacific (GP). After four years as Koch Industries Corporate CIO, he joined the GP team soon after Koch acquired them in 2005. His roles at Koch have included Chief Technology Officer, VP of IT Shared Services Operations, and VP of Koch Development Services.
Mr. Robison's current role includes IT vision and leadership development for 10 direct reports including five business unit CIOs, leading 1,000 IT staff, servicing 50,000 customers, across 350 locations worldwide. His role includes IT leadership of M&A activities, and he has led the IT due diligence for acquisitions of Invista and the $21B purchase of Georgia-Pacific.
Mr. Robison served four years on the board of Koch's shared services company. He has served as technology advisor for IT investment firms and is a member of two CIO working councils. In addition to Robison's 14 years with Koch Industries, his 28-year IT career has included leadership roles at Nissan Motors and Dell.

Mr. Ryan leads a team of more than 500 Travelport technology professionals worldwide with development hubs located in Atlanta, Denver and Kansas City in the United States as well as Langley in the UK. Don Zimmerman, Chief Information Officer
Wendy's/Arby's
Don Zimmerman is chief information officer for Wendy’s Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational IT infrastructure of the company.
With more than 23 years of technology experience, Mr. Zimmerman most recently served as Vice President of IT for the Sears Information Technology organization where he was responsible for Solutions Delivery, a function that architected, developed, and implemented all technology based solutions for the Sears Enterprise. He also acted as enterprise CIO and held the top IT post for the Sears Credit, Home Services, and Customer Care Network units. Additional internal IT responsibilities included enterprise architecture, telecommunications, and enterprise managed services.
Prior to joining Sears, he spent twelve years with Frito-Lay, Inc. and PepsiCo Foods International, both based in Dallas. His responsibilities ranged from systems and technical development to data center and help desk operations as well as internal solutions consulting.
Mr. Zimmerman holds a BBA in Accounting from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and an MBA in Management from the University of North Texas. He is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP).
